The perfect day I spent a glorious day with the dream team: Jimmy, the alert, cautious, and responsible driver, and Andres, the super kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic tour guide. The day exceeded my expectations: I saw and experienced everything I had heard about Cotopaxi and Banos - and then some. I learned a lot and felt extremely well taken care of. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see these two famous places in Ecuador in just one day. And if you’re lucky enough, you’ll be driven by Jimmy and guided by Andres.

Cotapaxi tour Andres was a wonderful, engaging, knowledgeable and very friendly tour guide. Both he and the driver, Diego, provided us with a highly memorable tour. This was our favorite tour out of our 4 days in Quito. A large part of it was due to Andres. We highly recommend Andres and Diego!

Great experience and company! This tour was absolutely wonderful from the adventure to the company of Ayrton. This walk was intense but totally worth it, i will do the summit next year. I’m very happy with the tour, from the pick up until the drop off! Ayrton is very friendly, knowledgeable, and he knows how to take the best photos that’ll last a lifetime ☺️ I’m very pleased, thank you so much for a great experience!

Amazing views Andrés was an excellent tour guide. His knowledge of the zone, the fun facts, the trivia questions and the cool attitude made this experience one of a kind! Ciro was an excellent driver and got us back and forth safe. Thank you! The tour was just enough to get good photos from both places, grab lunch and head back. If you want to take a longer experience on either place, probably book a full day per location.

Amazing experience I did a tour/hike of Cotopaxi with guide Andres and driver Jimmy. The scenery was gorgeous! The hike was challenging just due to the altitude but worth it for the views and seeing the Refugio. Guide Andres had so much great information about the history, people, geography and animals in the area. He was friendly and helpful and answered any questions I had about the area. Highly recommend this tour.

Book it – you won't regret it! Absolutely incredible experience – 10/10! I cannot recommend this tour enough! I booked a private day trip from Quito to Chimborazo, and it was truly one of the highlights of my nearly two months exploring Ecuador. I honestly can't believe more tourists don't visit Chimborazo — it is absolutely breathtaking, and such an amazing place to experience. I was picked up directly from my apartment, we stopped for breakfast, and then headed out toward Chimborazo. Irene was an absolutely FABULOUS guide — incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Ecuador. I learned SO much from her throughout the day, and that is saying something, as I've already spent nearly two months exploring Ecuador! She shared so much fascinating information about the landscape, history, culture, and the area around Chimborazo. Jimmy was our driver and was equally wonderful. He has such a great sense of humor and was an excellent, very safe driver. He also came along on the hike with us, which was such a nice surprise! He also recommended a delicious restaurant for lunch. Irene and Jimmy were both so kind and made the entire day feel easy, fun, and comfortable. As a 22-year-old woman traveling alone, I also want to emphasize how truly safe and secure I felt the entire time. I was completely comfortable with both Irene and Jimmy, and they took such great care of me throughout the day. I never once felt worried or uncomfortable traveling so far from Quito on my own. And, the PHOTOS! Irene and Jimmy took FABULOUS pictures of me — genuinely better than anything I could have taken myself. They knew exactly where to stop and how to capture the scenery, and I came away with so many incredible photos and memories from the day. The hike itself was also amazing. I personally found it less difficult than hiking Cotopaxi, although the altitude is definitely challenging and should not be underestimated! The landscape is absolutely surreal, and being up there surrounded by that incredible scenery is an experience I will never forget. If you're considering doing this tour, book it! Especially if you're traveling alone, I could not recommend Irene and Jimmy more highly. They were knowledgeable, funny, kind, professional, and made the entire experience unforgettable. This was one of the best days I've had in Ecuador, and I am so grateful to them both! It's so worth it.

I booked a trip with Real Dreams for a 16-hour day tour from Quito to Alausi and a ride on the train 'Nariz del Diablo'. The guide and driver (Andres and Jimi) were excellent and made sure I was ok the whole time. They also took me to see the church at Santiago de Quito and to nearby sand dunes. They made sure I came away with many photos, which I will treasure. It was expensive because I was a sole traveller, but it was worth every penny!

I had the most incredible day in Mindo with Pedro as my guide. The tour was supposed to be a small group, but I ended up being the only participant. I was so grateful it wasn't cancelled! As a young woman travelling solo, I immediately felt completely at ease with Pedro. He was kind, professional, and made the entire experience feel safe, relaxed, and tailored to me. I'd definitely recommend booking the all-inclusive option. It takes all the pressure off needing to carry cash (unless you want souvenirs, and I would absolutely encourage leaving your guide a tip)! Everything happened at my pace, and every stop was amazing. The hummingbirds nearly made me cry – they were so beautiful – and we got to try fresh bananas and coffee. Then we took the cable car out to a stunning waterfall. Coming from the northern US, I didn't find the water too cold, and it was such a fun adventure. After a lovely hike, we went ziplining. I was nervous at first, but the staff there were fantastic. They made me feel so comfortable and even encouraged me to try fun poses – including ziplining upside down! We also visited the butterfly garden, which was absolutely magical, had a delicious lunch at a local spot, and finished with a tour of the Yumbos Chocolate Factory, where I think I sampled about 20 different kinds of chocolate. It was such an amazing adventure from start to finish and absolutely worth it. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly. And if you have the chance, ask for Pedro – he's an incredible guide!

Touring with Pedro was exactly what we needed! Everything ran seamlessly. His knowledge and expertise helped us learn so much about the areas we visit and even made sure we got great photos when the clouds cleared and Cotopaxi was in full sight! We are going back to Quito next year and will absolutely be working with Pedro again!

Here’s a natural, strong English version you can use: We felt very well taken care of throughout the whole experience. The communication was excellent — we always knew what was going on. The guide truly looked after us, shared a lot of interesting information about Ecuador, and we learned so much. He was very kind, flexible, and professional — he definitely deserves a bonus. Thank you so much — this was money very well spent. We highly recommend this experience to everyone. It’s an amazing combination of horseback riding and connection with nature. Best regards!

This was our first trip to Ecuador. We arranged a private tour with Real Dreams about a month in advance. They even picked us up at the airport at night even though our tour did not immediately start. We spent our first day touring the city on our own. Our tour started the following morning when we were picked up in a roomy Trailblazer by Pedro, our driver and guide. Day one was visiting the biscuit bakery, a waterfall, Otovalo Market , lunch, and a small instrument museum. Afterward, we were driven to the hotel, the remarkable, historic, Hacienda Pisanqui. Originally it was a ranch and is over 300 years old. It is full of vintage gems and history. The restaurant serves delicious steaks. The rooms are vintage quality, like a ranch estate inn with a fire place. The grounds have walking trails and offers horseback riding. The fireplaces are used in the main room at night and breakfast. It was like staying back in time. The next day was a 8 mile hike all the way around Cuicocha Lake’s beautiful trail. Pedro provided lots of Ecuadorian history and information about the plants, birds, and animals. He has a lot of experience leading trips throughout the country and is formally educated about horticulture and the natural environment . The nearby town has excellent coffee shops. After lunch we drove to our Mindo cloud forest hotel. Pedro did a fantastic job of circumventing holiday traffic on side roads to save time. The hotel, Terra Bamboo, was amazing. Secluded, high up on the mountain, all the rooms were separate structures. Ours included a jacuzzi on the outside deck and giant panoramic windows. It was like sleeping in a treehouse surrounded by chirping birds. In the morning we had a nice rain forest hike with Pedro identifying the plants and exotic birds we were delighted to see. Afterwards was a popular Yumbos chocolate factory visit where we learned how complex creating real chocolate is. Afterward, a delightful stop at an enclave surrounded by hummingbirds that you can feed on your hands. Then back to Quito to spend the night and picked up in the morning by Pedro to drive us to Cotopaxi, and guide us up the high altitude trek to the base camp hut. On the night we saw a flying condor and Andean Fox. There was a lunch stop that served a great meal. Their veggie lasagna was superb— full of locally grown squash and sweet potatoes . Real Dreams and Pedro were excellent. We had a great time, learned more about the region than anticipated, and couldn’t be happier with the fantastic hotels and excursions. We highly recommend the Real Dreams tour company.

Honestly, this was an experience that made me really happy. The water in the Galápagos Islands is so clear it almost feels unreal, and snorkeling there was simply incredible. Everything feels so pure and natural… you truly connect with the place. I love penguins, and I really wanted to see them but I also knew it’s not always easy. And just when I wasn’t expecting it anymore, they appeared. Seeing them there, so calm in their natural habitat on Isabela Island, was a moment that truly moved me. I just stood there watching them without saying anything, simply enjoying it… it’s one of those moments you can’t really explain, you just feel it. Everything was completely worth it. Overall, the trip was very well organized, the places were spectacular, and everything felt very authentic. Thank you to the tour guides who were always attentive and showed us these beautiful places. I’m leaving with such beautiful memories, especially that moment with the penguins… and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something truly unique in the Galápagos Islands.

An unforgettable experience! I had an incredible experience on the full-day tour to Cotopaxi National Park and Quilotoa Lagoon. Without a doubt, one of the best tours I've ever taken. Our guide, Rasu, made all the difference. His English is excellent, which greatly facilitated communication throughout the tour. He was also very kind, attentive, and always willing to help us. What stood out most was his extensive knowledge: he not only explained geographical and natural details of the places, but also shared interesting and representative Andean beliefs with us, making the experience much more enriching and authentic. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience these destinations in a comprehensive, culturally enriching, and well-guided way. An unforgettable experience!

I really enjoyed this experience; it was a beautiful and well-organized trip. The planning was evident from the start, which made everything flow smoothly. The destinations we visited were incredible, especially Cotopaxi, which has a spectacular view, and Baños, which has a very pleasant atmosphere. The guide, Andrés Collaguazo, made everything even better. He was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly, without being tedious or boring. He also managed the group very well, always with a positive attitude, answering questions, and making sure everyone was comfortable and on time. It was a really cool experience; I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I would definitely recommend it to others.
